When my boys were little, I used to do the pre-dawn run routine on a regular basis. I still need to run super early on occasion, but thankfully those days are behind me. I did everything you listed here. Now tho, there are great illumination devices like Knuckle Lights and high-viz clothing that I would be using too.

  2. Its’ great that you’ve been able to make those morning workouts routine! I’m a morning person, but since I have to be at work at 7, I can only get up SO early during the week, lol!

You were so active last week, great job!

It isn’t always easy, I promise! I’m up between 4:30 and 4:45. Run or lift, wake my daughter up by 6:15, have a quick family breakfast, and then try to get out the door between 7 and 7:15. Our daycare doesn’t open until 7.

You’ve done great with your weight loss goal! Laying out your clothes the night before is definitely key to consistency! It’s like they are taunting me if I don’t get up. I think mowing the lawn should count double as a workout! Great family picture of your hike! Thanks for linking.

I really do think laying out the clothes is the most important part! If I don’t do it, I’m also afraid I’m going to wake my husband up as I fumble around in the dark!
