Weekly Wrap-Up: I Ran!

Welcome to my last Weekly Wrap-up from Australia!
We finally went for a run on Friday and it was glorious! We ran along the Brisbane River for just over 2.5 miles before we stopped at a playground to let Penelope play a bit before close to another mile back to the flat! We’ll call that a good day!
In terms of other exercise, we’ve done a lot more walking in Brisbane than we did in Sydney and my activity tracker has reflected that! Apple Health has me closing all three rings every day since we arrived in Brisbane (with the exception of 2 minutes of exercise one day) and doubling my exercise minutes some days.
Of course, we’ve been eating well the entire time we have been here, so that exercise has been needed. The cafes for breakfast, or brekkie, as they call it here, are plentiful and so is the avocado toast! I feel like I’ve eaten some variation on it nearly every morning! That means the scales will probably not be super kind to me when we return tomorrow night, but I’m ready to get back on the wagon when I get home and lose some more weight!

It sounds like you are doing plenty of walking to stay active while on vacation. Your brekkie looks delicious. I love to indulge in a big breakfast while traveling. There’s usually no need for lunch. Thanks for linking!
